Tripura assembly election 2023: BJP declares candidates for 48 seats, Congress 17

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday announced a list of 48 candidates for Tripura assembly election 2023. The party is yet to announce names of candidates for 12 seats. Chief Minister Manik Saha will contest from Town Bordowali constituency. Union Minister Pratima Bhoumik will contest from Dhanpur. Meanwhile, Congress too announced a list of 17 candidates. Sudip Roy Barman will contest from Agartala. The counting of votes will be taken up on March 2.
