Unpaid for three months, man sets self afire outside SC

Upset at not having received his salary for the past three months and losing his job, a 55-year-old factory employee set himself ablaze near the Supreme Court on Friday afternoon. He is in hospital and is stated to be out of danger.
According to police, around 1.48pm on Friday, Raja Babu Gupta reached Gate No. 1 of the Supreme Court and set fire to himself. PCR officials on the premises threw a blanket on him, doused the flames and drove Gupta to hospital.
