Uttar Pradesh extends Covid-19 lockdown by a week till May 17

Amid growing coronavirus cases in the state, the Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday decided to increase the duration of the lockdown to May 17, an official spokesman said. Earlier, the state government had announced lockdown till May 10.
It has been extended to May 17 and all shops and establishments will now remain closed till the UP government's further notice.
