Uttar Pradesh to launch helicopter taxi service to facilitate tourism

The Uttar Pradesh tourism department is preparing to launch a helicopter taxi service to connect prominent destinations across the state.

"Most of the tourists, especially foreigners, visit Agra to see the Taj Mahal because of good connectivity but same tourists skip equally important other tourist destinations due to poor connectivity. The helicopter taxi service would prove an advantage for such tourists," Mukesh Kumar Meshram, principal secretary, tourism and culture dept. said.
