Vaccine confirmation text goes to dead man’s phone number

The health department wrongly sent a vaccine precautionary dose confirmation text message to a man who died of Covid last year.

The message to Murarirao Shinde’s mobile number, registered with the department, said he had “successfully been vaccinated with a precaution dose of Covishield.”
