Vaccine distribution to be on electoral rolls

The Gujarat state government has begun the exercise of preparing a master plan for vaccinating the masses as and when the supply of the vaccine begins.

“For common citizens, it has been decided to use the current electoral booth system, where all details of voters like age, address and other details are available. Fingers of people who are vaccinated will also be inked for identification purposes,” sources in the government said.
