Vande Bharat hits 0 to 100kmph in 52 secs, outpaces bullet trains

The third and new Vande Bharat train has broken the record of even bullet trains to reach 100kmph speed from zero in just 52 seconds during a test run, Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Friday.
The train also has an air purification system that can kill germs and viruses with 99% effectiveness. The semi-high speed train is set to run on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai route in the next few weeks.
