Vi revenue market share falls further as 80 lakh customers shift to rivals

Vodafone Idea’s (Vi) lost further ground against its rival such as Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel in the September quarter as its revenue market share (RMS) slipped 22 basis points (bps) sequentially to 22.6% due to comparatively lower network-related spends, which led to more subscriber losses.

Meanwhile, market leader Jio reported a 34 bps gain on-quarter, taking its RMS in the July-September period to 41.3%, while No. 2 telco, Bharti Airtel’s was stable at around 34.2%.
