Watch | What ails India's wool industry?

Despite being the world’s seventh largest producer of wool, the demand for Indian local wool has been on a steep decline. With the influx of softer and cheaper wool from China, there are no takers for locally produced wool. A series of panel discussions at Delhi’s Triveni Kala Sangam, where a Desi Oon Festival was held, shed light on the global and Indian wool industry, and the issues afflicting those whose lives are intertwined with the industry in India.
