West Bengal extends lockdown till July 31 – Here’s what will remain open and closed

As the coronavirus tally crossed the 15,000-mark in West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday announced the extension of the ongoing lockdown in the state till July 31.

Schools, colleges, other educational institutions, metro and suburban train services to remain shut till July 31. Shopping malls, restaurants, places of worship will remain open. Government offices will function with 70 per cent attendance. Private offices have been allowed with reduced attendance.
