The ODI World Cup, which started in 1975, has a rich history. World Cup 2023 marks the first time a single nation has conducted the event since 2007. To mark the significance, ICC designed a unique logo for the World Cup 2023. ICC incorporated the ‘Navarasa’, a term used in Indian theatre to depict ‘nine emotions’ in a cricketing context. These nine symbols represent joy, power, respect, pride, bravery, glory, wonder, passion and anguish.
