Greenhouse gases are emitted through the production and consumption of goods and services. Carbon footprint is a concept used to quantify the impact of an activity, a person, or a country on climate change. The average carbon footprint of every person in India was estimated at 0.56 tonnes per year.
To bring a change, awareness is the first step. The World Environment Expo at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi will be such a platform between 4-6th June.
