A World Health Organization spokesperson, Margaret Harris said Friday that the end of the COVID-19 pandemic was a long way off, citing a rise in cases in its latest weekly data.
WHO has previously said that the acute phase of a pandemic can end this year but it depends on how quickly the nations across the world vaccinate 70% of their population.
