Work from home fun is over – now there are endless work hours, midnight calls

“There are no work hours anymore,” said an employee while she wakes up from her sleep at 5.30 am to attend a Zoom Call.

But it is not just her alone. As work from home becomes the  new normal, employees are beginning to realize that work from home is translating into “always available.” There are endless Zoom calls, bosses overworking them because really where else can they go during the lockdown and to top it all- pay cuts and fear of losing one’s job.
