Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the gold medal won by an Indian para-athlete Sheetal Devi at the ongoing Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, China. Sheetal Devi's feat is by no means an ordinary one. This 16-year-old 'Bharat Ki Beti' is the world's first armless female champion archer. Daughter of Shakti and Mann Singh from Loidhar village in Kishtwar, Jammu Kashmir, Sheetal was born with phocomelia, a rare congenital disorder that causes under-developed limbs.
