Youth faints during abortion scene in Danish film at IFFK screening

A youth fainted during the screening of the Danish film The Girl with the Needle at the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) at the Nishagandhi Auditorium. The screening was paused for around fifteen minutes following the incident. The viewer reportedly had difficulty handling a scene involving excessive bleeding. The youth was reported as stable. Similar incidents have been reported in the past as well when intense scenes are screened.
